Program Description

In all classrooms, curriculum along with their ABLLS-R protocol is followed and modified to the learning style of the student. Multiple teaching techniques are employed to promote the acquisition of academic, social and communication skills. Multi-sensory materials and visual aides help each child progress through the curriculum. Enhancing self-esteem and building appropriate behavior continue to be an important part of both classrooms.

Children are grouped together primarily by receptive language and learning readiness, although expressive language levels and styles may vary.

Small teacher-student classroom ratios

Small classroom ratios enable personalized attention and tailored instruction, accelerating academic and developmental progress for each student. Effective behavior management is achievable with fewer students, promoting a positive learning environment. Smaller classes facilitate vital social interactions and peer support crucial for special needs students. Reduced stress levels benefit both students and teachers, improving communication with parents and professionals and offering flexibility in curriculum adaptation. In essence, small classroom ratios enhance the quality of education and support for students with special needs.
